Borrego Construction is no stranger to Santa Fe. Born and raised in Santa Fe, Jim, Rick, and Bobby Borrego opened the doors of the company in 1977 with intention of bringing high quality homes and buildings to Santa Fe, while still maintaining close relationships with clients like only a local builder can do. Borrego Construction has been involved in an array of construction projects, ranging from single family homes all the way to multi-million dollar commercial projects. Whether building a small home or something on a larger scale, all clients are given the same amount of time and consideration. Our Team

James Borrego

JAMES R. BORREGO serves as Chief Construction Consultant and

Construction Manager for Borrego Construction Co., Inc. James has a degree in

Civil Engineering from New Mexico State University and is a licensed General

Contractor. He has over 43 years experience in the construction industry, from

design and construction of electrical power plants, to company manager,

consultant to other construction companies, construction design consultant, project manager and supervisor of commercial, institutional and residential projects.

Rick Borrego

RICARDO R. BORREGO, CFO and Secretary/Treasurer. Ricardo has degrees

in Civil Engineering Technology from New Mexico State University and is the

qualifying party for our Electrical Contractor License. He serves as the General

Manager of Borrego Construction Co. Inc., responsible for all legal matters,

internal and job accounting, and general business matters. Ricardo will supervise projects as needed. Work experience consists of over 43 years general company management, while involved in residential, commercial and heavy industrial construction projects.

Bob Borrego

ROBERT R. BORREGO serves as the Project Inspector for Borrego

Construction Co. Inc. Robert is a construction estimator and construction field

manager who coordinates construction scheduling of subcontractors and material suppliers for construction projects for Borrego Construction Co. Inc. He has over 43 years experience in the construction industry in New Mexico.
